Jason Li, Director and Founder
A picture is worth a thousand words… It has been a long time since I picked up my first camera. As I have grown older, everything around me has changed. The one thing that has remained constant through the years, however, is the passion I hold for photography. Every different shot, every different surrounding challenges my ability to express myself through my photos. I have always seen photography as a form of communicating without words. My photographs provide a reflection of my personality, sense of humor and compassion for people. These emotions I feel, have led me to wedding photography. The opportunity to capture the essence of a wedding day using my unique photojournalistic style allows me to be creative without being obtrusive. By using a documentary approach, I am able to work in a virtually invisible manner, yet I am still able to make compelling story-like images that you will be able to look back upon time and time again while discovering something new with each viewing.

Photography to me is a unique art. You get to express yourself while showcasing the moments in life where everything truly matters; the up's and down, the joy and the tears, the happy and the everlasting. I am proud to be part of Jazter Photography as i have grown so much over the years and met so many wonderful people. I continue to cherish what i have learn and thrive to be even better. I'm excited to look back in a few years from now, to when i first began and to the photographer i will be.

When I picked up my camera a few years back, I never thought it would take me on this never ending journey. My camera and I have been together through a lot…from local places to countries like Japan, Hong Kong, France and so forth. There is constantly something to learn and appreciate. Working with Jason and Chris brought me even closer especially when we all have our own unique style. There are times when one of us sees something the others do not and it’s a joy to discover something new at every wedding. Throughout the years we as a team and as best friends have become even closer, working seamlessly in harmony with our common goal: to excel in capturing “the moment” with a delicate photojournalism touch and showing to the world that a picture is indeed worth a 1000 words.
